DVD 1:

Dunn's Deal: Shaun Dunn presents his version of Galaxy. This time, the spectator is shuffling her whole way through the entire effect. Just when they think it's all over... you tell her to shuffle again.
Invisible Palm by Wayne Houchin: You've seen the video of Wayne performing this for years, now learn all the finesse and handling he's brought to this PH classic.
Truly Screwed: This is the new and improved Improv Screwed Deck. Incredibly visual and a treat for your fingers. And the really screwy thing here, is the worse you do the key move here the better it looks.

DVD 8:
Belly Button: This is Paul's unbelievable brainstorm for doing card through window with a campaign-type button.. using the spectator's own shirt as the window!
SOS: Paul's new version of Color Stunner is more streamlined, simplified and simply a better more joyous thing.
Muscle Bend: A borrowed coin bend that starts and ends with empty hands. Involves a mystery "organic ungimmicked gimmick" that will change the way you bend coins forever.
Unstable Label: Andrew Gerard's "Label to Inside of Bottle" with no palming or gimmicks. Perform with a normal bottle in a moment's notice.

DVD 9:
TA Pen. Having fun yet? This 9th and final DVD includes a special PH custom gimmick which will not be available separately for quite a while. What is the TA pen? It's a new gimmick that makes immaculately clean bill changes, switches, and animations. Everything about the pen is self-contained and can even be handled and used as a normal pen by spectators. If you thought this is all enough to keep you busy for a couple of years, you'd be right. But there is one last final thing on DVD 9: Paul's very own Angel Cake.

Angel Cake is....a slightly troubling once-in-a-lifetime principle. This slice of ph cake almost definitely will give you some sleepless nights contemplating the philosophical implications of this karmically loaded astonishment. Paul Harris' True Astonishments... the truth is finally out!

I just watched the first three disks. Every magician should own this set. It is worth every penny!!!!

Jason, stated in his last post that he had about 150 e-mails still to get out. Is he sending out Tracking Numbers to everyone who order through TAP, or only commenting that he had a bunch of unanswered mail he had to reply to?

I believe he told those who had not yet received tracking numbers not to worry, as all sets have been shipped from TAP and, as long as you received his other email with the freebies, you should have all your bases covered. The 150 emails were unread messages he was going to spend all day paging through, as I understood it.

It's here! I got #14. Time to dive in. I'll come back and post some thoughts after I've had a chance to indulge for a while.

OK guy so remember to post when you pre-order your TA Set as well as the set# if you got a signed box. So far I only have 5 data points but it looks like at least 31 sets were ordered by Dec. 7th which I think was the second day and at least 49 sets were ordered by Dec. 8th (the 3rd day). I wonder who got set #1. Do you think Paul kept that one or maybe gave it to Jason or one of his other buddies? I ordered mine on Dec. 11th and I am hoping for a two digit set number.

Thales, since you won't be opening your box for the next year or two you won't know what number you got.

By applying Thales' non-linear time continuum, he can always look forward a year or two, and find out without having to disturb the current packaging.

I had decided to open my box just to make sure that everything is intact and not broken. Plus I have recently reevaluated my skill level and the volume of material that I do know and believe that I am probably worthy enough to view DVD 1 at this point. If not than I hope Paul will forgive me. After that I will continue to work on the other material that I already have and in a month or two if things go well then I may reward myself with DVD 2.



And of course I always have that option as well.

Good new (sort of)! I came down with some sort of terrible cold type sickness, so I get until next monday off! I'm expecting to get my set by Friday at the latest, possibly even tomorrow. It's unfortunate, though out of all the times to get sick, this is definitely the best!

Well, I am still in "Latest and Greatest" mode, have heard from Jason but have not received emails with freebies yet, and am a bit of an elitest so, in Latest and Greatest fashion, even though it is not a review, I make the following statement:

Please do not share presentational ideas from the DVDs here. Please, please, please.

There are already people asking about the new ending to LV Leaper in the workers section, people who do not and have no plans on buying the set. I understand the desire to share and all that, but keep this stuff under wraps, please, please, please.

69 pages was getting a bit unweidly for me. Maybe now is a good time to migrate over to this thread. I think most people will get their box set in the next few days (hopefully I will be one of them!) - so, soon this thread will be the more appropiate place to discuss them. Would be interested to hear when anybody from England gets their set...
