Hey Howard try reading the thread again from the beginning...Then come back and beat the horse...No one said anything about membership being free or not wanting to pay a membership...The issue that was being asked about was, initiation fees. Mr. Wells (above) was kind enough to put it in perspective...., without looking down his nose... |

It is a great organization and is well worth the money.I think you will enjoy being a member if you join.Plus remember that big convention this summer.

All clubs have membership fees, and many have initiation fees. IBM cost is a lot less than a gym membership. We assume members love magic and want to promote its future. I have no problems paying and supporting the future of magic. It really is not a large sum of money.

I am new to magic and new to the IBM but,I am very proud of my progress and extremely proud to be a member of the IBM. I just did what I thought was good for me.

What part of G-Diddy's post seem so humourous to you, Borack?

There is nothing wrong with my ability to understand. If you're incapable of explaining yourself, please say so.

OK, then try reading my initial question on Feb 5th..The question was about initiation fees..NOT about IBM membership costs and how they compare to gym fees or anything else nor the merits of joining....It was about INITIATION FEES...Then MR. Wells was kind enough to explain how IBM was a non profit which set the record straight for me and changed my mind completely...
I thought G-Diddy was pulling my leg as I thought you were too..As this horse has been beat to death..but it appears there may be some life in her yet or perhaps your ability to understand is not as up to par as you may think... Your Turn... |

Evidently you have no intent to explain why you thought G-Diddy was pulling your leg.
