Ive been struggling like a pedophile in a retirement community to come up with a street name (pardon the cheeky analogy) I don't want to use my own - too blah.. too plain... want some privacy...ect...

I was jotting down a bunch of ideas and would like some feedback...

Marc Hazzard (since I do some bizzare stuff like razors... but in a comedy/stunt way)

Marc DeCardz (though I do not do a lot of cards...)

Marc Mayhem (since I do some bizzare stuff like razors... but in a comedy/stunt way)

Magic Marc R (magic marker play on words)

Marc Nobody (call me mr. nobody)....

Mr. Nobody (Nobody does magic like that!)

I just cant find one that hits home.

"I've decided to keep the name most people call me. Hi, I'm "Lousy"."

Hey Marc, think of the promotional angle, "Folks you've all seen "The Best", now something different,... "The Worst",... Hi, I'm Lousy!"

all the best,... I mean `the worst',

p.s.: I always thought, "Ini-ini", would also be a cool magician's name. Probably wouldn't get any magician-convention-gigs though.

I never thought I would hear the words from my wife saying, and I quote...

"Get Pepkas balls off our kitchen table!"

Just go by Marc. It becomes very identifiable. Have the audience say your name loudly three times: "MARC! MARC! MARC!" Now they all sound like hairlip dogs. (rim shot)

Your name then becomes an acronym: M.A.R.C.

Put it on a sign. Tap each letter as you say the following...

M.A.R.C. = Magic And Razor Comedy
M.A.R.C. = Magician Approaching. Run, Children!
(bragging on himself) M.A.R.C. = Magician Acts Real Cool
(something goes wrong) M.A.R.C. = Magic Act, Real Cheap!
(Hat line) M.A.R.C. = My Act Requires Cash!
(Hat line) M.A.R.C. = Make A Real Contribution!

A take on Gallagher's idea.. I'm thinking of perhaps Marc Wurst, like a German name. There's a German Sausage festival around here called "Wurst Fest" and they get a lot of mileage out of the Wurst/Worst thing. My own name has worked out well in the same way, The Astonishing Mr. Pitts seems to be memorable and get a laugh, and has just the right level of irony for a performing name. Magic Mr. Wurst... something like that.
