Would like more pics of show fronts,,,Betty Allans, Shuffelbottoms, Lord George Howard,Tommy Keyes, Appletons etc etc,,, will try and get some shots in April when I shall be working on Tom Normans Show @ Dingles.
BTW Some of Bostocks relatives are still around, but no longer in the biz. Yes Doug it would show all the English Knobs houses and places of play but not the zibbs inside them ! Since that time Dougs zibbs (Mer and Chup) Have made return dates to Longleat (2) Hampton Court (2) Ascot (3) Morden Hall (4) So that's not a bad run either. Also booked for Portsmouth Docks (Set up in front of HMS Victory) For this Xmas Docks Festival. Don't know what to say Doug,,just spent half an hour going through my pics but other than outside shots of the venues there was little else.A short press DVD was going around at one time but got grabbed when we were at the second showing in Marlborough and no way would they permitt stills of the events.
All I really have are memories,,,but they are very vivid. |
