A lot of folks like the E-Z Up frame tents, which are very sturdy and run around $200 for a 10x10. Sam's Club often carries them.
You might also try a sporting goods store. I found a great 10x10 Quest tent with a steel straight-leg frame and a UV-resistant top (inner reflective lining) on sale for $90 at The Sports Authority. I used it for an entire season last year with no problems and hope to get at least one or two more seasons out of it. Whatever you get, don't forget to buy some heavy-duty metal stakes, a claw hammer to install and remove them, and some nylon rope for staking the tent. For $25 or less, it's cheap insurance against a blowdown, possible injuries and a lawsuit. SETH

http://www.northerntool.com - All kinds of "tents"
http://www.anchorinc.com - As Don suggested Waterloo tents, Sams club, Wal-mart, Target, Tons of other places. Or you can frame up a "stick" joint. And just buy the canvas from Anchor or Waterloo. |
