Anyone knows which rope thickness is Richard Sanders using in Fiber Optics?
At the end of the DVD he mentions that he is using Camirand Magic Elite Magician's Rope, but I checked out the site and they carry two different sizes (thickness): stage rope which is 10mm thick and parlor size which is 7mm thick.
Which one is Richard using in the DVD?

If that is your choice, I would go with the 10 mm, or even better.
I use hollow core 10 mm, but also use 15mm (not available at Camarand).
Stick with the 10 mm in my opinion.
That is comparable to what I do in my Dances with Ropes routine.

I always preferred the 10 mm. I my opinion many moves are easier with a thick than a thin rope. In addition it looks more impossible. But of course the rope should be soft enough to bend sharp without difficulties.

Richard Sanders use the Camirand Elite Stage 10 mm rope on the DVD This also known as Elite Magician Stage Rope manufacture to the specification of Camirand Academy of Magic. It is available from many dealers and if your dealer does not plan to carry this rope go to and make a search for rope and all our rope will show up.

This Stage rope is also recommended for Tabary's Style routine where a compromise of softness and weight is needed
