I'm a GIANT fan of Michael Vincent. Well, Russ over at RSVP told me that Alakazam will have a new Michael Vincent project which runs at three DVD's and is over 5 hours long. The trailer for this can be seen here ( check out the Brainwave type effect ).

Wow,
I just watched the video. That is some really cool stuff. He is such a gentleman when he performs too.

I really like his card to wallet spin. That one is really elegant.

As magicians we create what onlookers call magic. If they truly believe in what we have created for them to witness then magic is real!!!

Now this will be great!

However, Vincent has been working for a book for soon over 8 years... I wonder if it will ever be ready...

Hello korttihai_82,

Yes, the project has been edited and will be released quite soon. It really is a great project and Michael has done a great job teaching his material. From his parlour show set, right through to his close up work, this is a really outstanding set of DVDs.

Keep an eye out on the Alakazam site for any more news.

Best,
Russ

Dear friends

This project was an absolutely enjoyable process for me.

Peter Nardi of Alakazam and Russ Stevens of RSVP where outstanding to work with.

This DVD release will feature a lot of magic and my evolution in the craft of magic.

My intention was to release material that I know "works".

We intentionally decided to shoot this in front of a lay audience who had never heard of me and consequently, I had to win them over from the get go.

This DVD set is all about performance driven magic so you will learn material which has been designed with that intention mind.

Stay tuned, coming soon

Thanks for the support

Sincerely

Mike Vincent

I had the wonderful pleasure of spending time with Michael last summer. He is not only a killer performer, but a charming gentleman who will do anything to help a fellow magician. This DVD project should not be missed by anyone who is remotely serious about card magic. I for one, can't wait.

I was fortunate enough to see some of Mr. Vincent's work when I visited London for the International Magic Convention last year. I didn't see much, but what I did see was performed flawlessly. I'm looking foreward to this.

I am cutting WAY back on my magic related purchases this year.
However, this DVD is on my short list. Looking forward to it.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

Will the release date be the same on the U.S. site? I don't see it there, yet.

Is the August date correct? Did Peter mean April? I'll ask him.

Remember, across the pond they put the day before the month.
