I want to find out what is going on, in and around Michigan especially northern Michigan. Such as clubs and shows? I am not sure which forum to post this in to get the best response. The welcome area dosen't seem to get much traffic.
Please help me.
Thank you
Brian

I don't know about any magic stores in your area, but here are two links to local Michigan IBM rings and SAM assemblies. Hopefully some of this information will help you.

Brian, there are two forums that might help you. First is "the Marquee says" which list events and meetings if your planning a trip but it would work for your question as well. The other would be to check the "so happy together" forum which announces upcoming events all over the country. There is a sticky topic there started by Magic4u which is an up to date listing of current events everywhere.

We have booked Boris Wild, Chris Capehart, Tim Wright, David Kaplan, Hank Moorehouse, David Seebach & Company, and Alan Smola. We ar also waiting to hear back from one additional act. I hope to hear back early next week. For more information please check out our web site at http://www.MichiganMagicDay2009.com

I thought you might also be interested to know that there is a magic shop in Prudenville, near Houghton Lake. The shops name is The Mystic Cove and the owners name is Ron Easterly. Tell Ron that Antony Gerard said hello.

Thanks Antony actually I do know Ron. I think I am his only customer really interested in magic. Ron has been great but I was looking to see if that were others around here to maybe hang out with. I am really looking forward to the magic days! I will check out the other links thanks for the help. I am going down state to visit my family and I will try to get to your shop next week.

Brian, if you make it as far as Antony's in Kalamazoo and you have the time, don't forget FAB magic and Abbott's in Colon. It's really worth the trip and not that far from Kalamazoo.

Antony, next time I get to Kalamazoo, I've got to stop by. It's been too many years since we've seen each other. Is Timid Rabbit still in the college area or have you moved since my last trip out there?

Hello Dave

We are still at the same location (since 1990) and still in the college area. We have grown so much since the last time you were here that we had to add another location, but one that is not open to the public. Warehouse space mostly. Our combined retail, rental, and warehouse space is now at about 55,000 square feet. Even with all that space, my shop still looks like an episode of Sanford & Son. But we are still open (since 1974) and growing.

If you find your way to the Kalamazoo area in April please stop by my convention. Check at http://www.MichiganMagicDay2009.com for details.
