Just a quick question for all.
I do primarily card magic, but am looking to branch into other magic as well. I am looking for a book with different effects utilizing different objects other than cards or coins. I have all of the Apocolypse books, and I think they are great. Can you guys recommend any good overall close up magic books. Thanx XX |

I agree with dpe666, and would add Hay's "Amatuer Magicians' Handbook."

However, I would suggest purchasing "The Gen" magazine on CD. Pricey, but the two books mentioned were compiled from the pages of this magazine, as were half a dozen others! The magazine is compiled on four CD's and available from Martin Breese. Paul. |

Look into Scott Guinn's "It's More Magic". This book is dedicated to magic with items other than coins or cards. It contains some incredible routines. PM Scott about it...Cafe members get a discount!

Although mostly cards, the Art of Astonishment series by Paul Harris also contains some great non-card effects which you may find useful.
Thanks |
