I'm working on this routine and was wondering which opening people like the most.
1) Using the Flustration count to show the cups empty? Best of John vol 1 2) Using the slide off move and then showing three balls under the cups? 1971 Pamphlet |

I prefer the galloping post move opening myself. I've never been too keen on being fussy and feeling I have to show every cup empty on a constant basis and I think the latter is more direct.
Of course this is just a personal opinion but you did ask |

I think a very casual flustration count is good.
For a more elaborate opening, look at ricky jay's performance on you tube. He starts out with the "three shell game" |
