Hey folks,

I've been watching Levent's Manipulation DVD and he used to perform a Fan To See effect (where two regular size fans of cards instantly turn into two jumbo size fans.) He bought his from Tano Nasako (sp?) of Japan 25 years ago. His are spring-loaded and the jumbo fan is articulated so that the jumbo cards actually fan out.

Can anyone comment on, or better yet, compare or contrast the various versions available today?

I can't comment on the quality of the fans, but I think I can correct your spelling. It sounds like you're referring to Ton Onosaka, the owner of Magic Land in Tokyo and creator of many excellent card effects in both jumbo and regular size. I'm not absolutely sure it's who you're referring to, but it sounds like him.
