I have a national certification test I'm preparing for, and I have some study dvd's that I want to record the lectures of and play on my ipod. What's the simplest way to capture the sound and put it in a format to play on my Ipod? Thanks! Jim

I've used DVD Audio Ripper to steal audio off DVD's - the free version only lets you take 5 minutes at a time - not sure how long your lectures would be - could be time consuming to do a half hour lecture but the quality is excellent.

Rip the DVD to an avi file with one utility, convert to .mp3 with another ... I haven't the names right now, but they're out there.
