Which book would you recommend? I'm going to do the 3 year subscription and am trying to decide between the two books that they are offering.

The Hilliard book contains 300 tricks that might well have made it into Greater Magic had Hilliard not died. Some are in note form, others are completely written out. It is a "trick book."
The Vernon book is one of history, anecdotes, Vernon's writings about his friends, magic theory, and so on. It only contains half a dozen tricks. Hope this helps. |
