This is a very good card magic routine. I've performed it and people like it. It won't come close to card under glass, card to wallet, or having a card change in their hands.
I love Martin Waring's idea. That would make the routine golden! |

I would use Search and Destroy with an assistant as an opener. It gets everyone onside. Save your jaw dropping effects for the end:

The other night at a birthday event I had a contest with the birthday boy. I had a deck and I gave him one. I got both set up and announced that the first one to eliminate all the wrong cards first wins a fabulous prize. Of course I made sure I got it very wrong and that he was superbly victorious without any cognizance of how he was doing it. Every cut his eyes got bigger and bigger and people were roaring. Upon the revelation I performed a splash bottle routine with his favorite bottle of wine for his prize. The good news was this was just my opener! Great audience involvement. Great effect!
