I'm not really into pk effect but this is a good impromtu effect. I've done this a few times and it utterly surprised/freaked people out, especially since it can be done from a can that they just drank from. I present this bringing up the movie Ghost. Where Patrick Swayze meets the other ghost in the subway, and shows him how to be able to touch objects. After reminiscing about the movie, I tell them we're going to try an experiment using the same concept. I have them concentrate on the can, I perform shudder...Amazing! Nice job Dee.

Here's my quick review -
DVD quality is fine. Yes the music is a little too loud but it doesn't get in the way of Dee's explainations. Now the effect - the impromptu version requires a set of balls no doubt. But be bold, it does fool if done well. I wouldn't want to repeat it though as I think you'd get rumbled. The gimmicked version is very nice. I don't know if this method is Dee's original idea but it's beautifully simple & the movements naturally tie in with what happens. This method could also be used on other items if you wish. My only gripe, like many others, is I don't appreciate the one trick DVD format. This is not Dee's fault of course & the effect is a good one. It's just that it probably belongs amongst a handful of effects released together. |

My heart goes out to those who have problems with downloads.
There are literally hundreds of encodinng combinations out there. We test our clips on at least 8 different machines, both Mac and PC and they all look and act differently. Can't begin to tell you how much time I've wasted trying to find the "universal codec" that works in all situations. The new generation of home camcorders have the encoding built-in so it can go straight to Youtube and look right. Producers find their own formulae best suited to their needs and are way more secretive than magicians when it comes to sharing. Hopefully there will eventually be a standard (such as flash) for this but I'm not holding my breath as long as the industry still has gizmos to sell.
