I am looking to purchase or make a portable curtain system.
I would like it to be able to open a curtain from the center, like a theater curtain. Where can I find a pulley system or plans to make one?

Go to a window drape store and study (or even buy) one of their fixtures for opening curtains theater style. They usually have these on display so you can check out the action. You can mount it and use it as is, or just buy the necessary pulleys and cords to make one yourself.

Matt, the name of what Spellbinder is is talking about is a traversing curtain rod.

Thanks, I found some remote control electric ones on ebay.
They open both sides at the same time?
