I bought a lot of magic which had what I believe to be a Checker trick. I cannot figure out the trick and would appreciate any help references. The trick has a metal tube with various 3" diameter yellow and red wooden checkers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joe

What does the tube look like and does it have a wooden base?

The tube is yellow and has a black stenciled parrot on it. There is a black diamond shaped hole near the bottom, and the top of the tube is solid. Thank you for your interest. Joe

Hmmmmm, how many checkers, and how big are they? Do they slide down a metal rod? I swear I've seen this, but I'm still not sure.

Hi,
It might be the Blue Phantom, if there is one odd checker. Otherwise it is probably a transposition effect. Yours faithfully Dan Kirsch |
