Seventh Heaven by Lewis Jones is in stock at H&R books. This book--highly regarded by Café members-- has been hard to find in the U.S.

Thanks for the information . . . I will give this book a go . . .
Why is it that on one side of the world a person looks at a picture of the Grand Canyon and says, "it looks so real." At the same time on the other side of the world a person looks at the Grand Canyon and says, "it looks like a picture."

Just ordered this. Truly looking forward to it. The above poster blew my mind over the phone with one of Mr Jones' creations and more than one of my heroes in the art point to Mr Jones as a true inspiration.

I agree Sean , one of a kind and has a habit of taking effects I come up with and improving them 100% or giving me excellent feedback .

Obviously, I am a fan of Mr. Jones' work. I have purchased nearly everything he has released ("Ahead of the Pack" is still on my list). In fact, the effect that Don was mentioning above, I just used in a stand-up performance last weekend. It is one versatile effect (but that is found in his "Person to Person" book).

My "Beyond Touch" routine is based upon a number of his in-print methods and I am indebted to his kindness for his willingness to let me release it. Check out DOP in "Seventh Heaven" it is an excellent routine.

He is a gentleman and a scholar. All of his work gets my absolute highest recommendation. Get them all, while you can.

Lewis Jones has been a HUGE influence on my work. His books aren't just good reading with nice tricks...they are welcome TOOLS for the wise conjuror because Lewis consistently reveals how the most subtle methods often have the greatest impact.

Every time I read one of Lewis's books, my forehead stings from slapping myself and thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?!" I almost got a concussion after going through "The Magic Gourmet".

Best,

Mick, sorry about your concussion. My forehead is pretty sore right now as well.

Amazing man, amazing thinking, and he really knows the ins and outs of creating and cultivating suspense.

Beyond his incredibly simple and effective methodology, his rhythms are spot on.

New fan for life.
