I only did as Doug`s instructions, I have no skill other than a big mouth, the most important things are >>> 1) Grasp every oportunity.
2) BS does baffle brains. 3) Understand that the more aristocratic and inteligent they are, the easier they are to fool. 4) People say how did you get booked !!!! I asked that's it. Did I make a lot of dosh,,,,,I made what they thought I was worth. Did my efforts and the efforts of my flatties make huge sums for Charity,,,hell yes. Am I still reaping rewards for these past efforts,,,No, but I have had repeats and it has opened other doors for me. The real secret to success in anything is >>> ITS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, ITS WHO YOU KNOW. Why not set up as mark for "Obama" ? I already have (But await a reply). Yes, I will get one too. Dougs Idea is simple, it works and I capitalized on it, I was in the right place at the right time. Would I do it all again,,,no F@****G way, dealing with security, arrogant go fors and idiot Police has made this a one off for me, that`s it. Could anybody do the same >>> Hell yes and proberly do it better and make more dosh for themselvers than I did. Ken. |

Absolutely...KEN did make it special...in every way. NO ONE could have pulled off what he did.
(You just happened to go to MY site which is after all a SALES page for the plan. I do sell it ya know, mostly as a way to use one of my Zibits. It's my pitch. However, it winds up FREE if you get a Zibit. Nobody is throwing Ken a bone...he earned the whole carcass! When the page was done, It was decided to play down Ken's role because he was under the gun of the Royals to not publicize it. Ken Dean is a GENIUS to me and tell anybody who asks. By No Front I did not mean His Promotion! haha. I meant NO FRONT as in very little Flash which is what I thought YOU meant. In that respect, Ken's FRONT was everything. He even looked good in a TUX I hear. Chewin' the cud with the hoity toity even...and I did say it was for ther Prince's CHARITY. Even that was a secret when it was being done!

Doug it was a charitable event for Royalty....I'm guessing the "Prince" sent out invitation's to his Buddies sayin "95lbs. a bloke to raise stew for my Favorite Charity" of course they all came...The Prince contacted Ken.."Yo Kondini, what do you have strange?" Ken orders a Zidbit and gets the "FREE" manual....A good time was had by all!!...Bravo! ...Did I miss something??....Now, I have the literally FREE "Manual" and I mean literally! (Remember?)...So I am sorry if I confused this event and circumstances with a "For Profit" endeavor...My emotions got excited at the 95lb $200 World record sales part....Silly me....can we be Buds now???

There are pieces from Castle Blood and a few other friends on display at PNATB as well
I came across it while doing a search on existing boardwalk attractions, and some of the friends did not even know that their stuff was in there! I could easily get lost for a day in all of the different exhibit rooms. What I need to remember is that when I do plan my next trip west to give plenty of warning in an effort to make sure that PNATB is open during the time that I visit. And yes, I caught some Higley's in some of the photos that I found. Ditto for some of Furry's collection, which I'll be getting to see real soon, too Call it whatever you want, Spectacle is still alive and well. I have word from several conventions that the participants have enjoyed "oddity museums" and single-o's set up for participants. (Hopefully this proves to be true for us in a couple of weeks as well!) I'm looking for any excuse to trot out my zibits these days, but for me it is more for fun than the "hard way to make an easy living." If the roller-coaster economy doesn't make it up the lift hill, I may be going back to the handbook for a refresher course, though. Chris |

Chris...just call Richard ahead of time. I'll PM ya or vice versa. There's an incredible story behind that place he's building. So you actually went there or just saw photos?
Mr. Curator...there was a lot more to it than just the charity portion and being for charity doesn't in any way belittle what Ken accomplished with a simple Grind Show or did I get you wrong? Maybe I'm mistaken in sencing some abrasive toe nails in that footprint your aiming to make here...There's room for everybody so yeah...we can be 'Buds'...that's what this board is all about.

Well...you'll have to ask Ken about the admission price thing. I wasn't there...but I took it as a very funny bit that they were paying that much to see a bunch of dopey gaffs and over a 9 mth period. Not at all blowin' smoke...just happy about it.
My motive is what it always has been. I have all my friends here and some are Customers...I hang out...do business, make my living...get along...it's my favorite 'lot' so to speak...no beefs or 'hey rubes' in a bunch of years being here. No other motives...none wanted. Like I said, there's room for everybody.

Fair enough, I did ask How? and we all got the answer...My take is (as I said before) Charity sold the tickets for 95lbs. or $200...It didn't matter what they put in the Tent...However, without the Showmanship and Cleverness of Ken all would have been for naught...Once again CONGRATS to Ken..a TRUE SHOWMAN...Now Doug I am here to make freinds and share Information, Factual Information...Sincerely The Curator..."Big Circus Sideshow"

I'm just fortunate that "want to" is not "have to" in my case, which totally changes the game plan as far as what I am doing in the business of show. I just don't need to make it my main point of focus at this particular moment. Chris |

Reading through this thread a few times I am trying to decypher what has been said ?
Ok we can use carny slang and usualy its prime feature was to conceal knowledge between carnies under the noses of the punters, so no need to use it here. The US verbals are not the same as the UK. So unless you want to talk about me under my nose, please use English or at least paraphrase the diction. IE If the flattie back on block hits that tilt anymore his chavvies will get stung for it,,,,see we can all do it but it has its place and with a world wide membership like it or not its place is not here.
