Lesson learned:
Do not practice rope magic with cats around! You may not even get your rope back..... |

Father Photius,
I'll try to remember that you are allergic to cats. We'll make something else for dinner. Cats are a real test not only for rope magic but silk and dove magic too. Now I have a new product idea: Cat Vanish! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

S.A.M. 147 held their meeting at someone's home, and in the middle of my rope lecture, I was playing keep-a-way with the cat batting at the hanging ropes throughout my lecture. It was actually fun.
I love cats: broiled with some onions and peppers.

My juggling bean bags would peridocially move. I later saw my cat carrying one around in it's teeth.

BudTCB,
For guys doing liquid magic they could go with Cat-a-Tonic. In the NorthWest used with a chain saw they could do Cat-a-Log. Bob Sanders PS --- I'll never have a better silk customer than the one who called and told me, "Our cat just had a new litter of kittens on my magic silks." (Re-order please!) Never again did I meet someone with a cat with such good taste. |

I have cats, but as Bob might remember, I have dachshounds as well. It's not unusual to see one of them carrying a piece of rope, or chewing on a wand, or lately change bags and leather purses.
It not as bad as when my goats got into my magic warehouse and scattered zombie balls, ball vases and silks across the 40 acres.

It's not a good idea to practice with rope when dogs are around either. Mine thought it was a great tug-a-war.

Ropes are usually frayed of cats...
