It's been a while, but Ballycast 24 is up HERE My guest this time is Jeremy Weiss. the Shock Doc.

There's also:

video on the wonderful memorial for Schlitzie,

some entirely off-topic but IMO important commentary plus a link to a great podcast,

a really inspirational message for all the freaks and piercers and unusual people out there, on being "the architect of your own identity",

and another of my attempts to do, in sound, what a sideshow does with a blowoff ... but this one is WAY over the top, well into the realm of "tasteless and intentionally and senselessly cruel." You don't have to part with a dollar, but you do have to go follow a link to get it. Interested? Repulsed? I apologize in advance.

Excellent!...
You come to a point in your life when you really don't care what people think about you, you just care what you think about yourself.

I love hearing how people sound for the first that I've known online for years. Great show Wayne!!

And the Schlitzie memorial video is interesting as well.

I second Ingemar--I'm a big fan of both Ballycast, and the SGU.

So many kind words! Nobody found the blowoff vulgar (at best) and morally questionable?

The Schlitzie audio clip was just cribbed from the FREAKS soundtrack (by way of youtube). I'm usually pretty good at figuring this sort of thing out, but ... does anybody have any inkling of what Schlitzie is saying?

No. You did a really great job, Wayne! I really enjoyed all of it (not just our interview). The whole thing was really a terrific podcast! You are a terrific interviewer/producer/soundtrack selector/interesting site observer! I enjoy all of them.

High praise coming from you ... WAIT A MINUTE, you're the guy who wraps his head in plastic wrap and tries to escape from a straitjacket! How smart could you be? Next thing you'll be smashing your hand with a can of soup!

The Blowoff was emotionally moving. Terrifying and still very informative to hear. One must never forget what those crazy people where all about.
Thanks for doing it and giving me the chance to learn about something I wasnt at all educated in.

I liked (Well...Not liked exactly....Appreciated?) the blowoff. It was powerful and chilling...The song afterwards did nothing to alleviate that just added an extra chill.
No...It did not go too far, but it delivered what it promised.
Glad you had the guts to do it.
