Why can't the Café allow 2 searches before going into the 2-minute stall? This would solve my most frequent search problem -- finding out with the first search that I didn't do it quite right, and needing to do just one more to get it right.

Then we get the request to allow just 3 searches to help those that can't get it right in two tries. Then is goes to 4 tries. Just a big circle. This topic has been discussed at length and a new topic isn't really necessary.
