Lyle, do you think for those performer who smoke can use the lighted cigarette to break the ballon and achieve the result as your knife handling? If it is then for those guy it is truely imprompt effect again.

This looks great and may be something I will invest in. I was hesitant at first because here in the UK it is illegal to carry a knife and it seemed that only a knife would work to pop the baloon in a certain way for the clean up, but if tooth picks or cigarettes are doing the trick I'm interested.

The Italian Credit Card Line is one that I heard YEARS AGO. No disrespect intended to anyone obviously...Bill Malone used it on his Bill to Lemon routine as well. Use it...not that you need my permission.
Using a Cig to pop the balloon will certainlly work but I am unsure if the automatic clean up will occur since you need to keep the action moving. I don't smoke so I can't practice that to see if it would work.

Finally got Lyle's pressure 2.0, it is very good handling, far better than original. In the previous short review of Pressure I said this trick's result is fully depend on your audience no matter how good practise and performing you do.
And with Lyle's handling I would say now the trick is fully depend on you as a performer, how much practice you had, how much little detail and carefullness you put into it during performing, what kind of ballon you have chosen, and what kind of phone you experienced to make the effect work. Only with the Lyle's handling you as performer can control the final result, and as long as you do it right as lots of other trick, the audience shall have very low chance to figure out. It is unfortune T11 not put this as an alternative handling in the Pressure DVD which can make the product more complete. I would highly recommend anyone who has pressure to get lyle's handling. |

Chris...
Just watched it. Dude...that was $6 well, well, well spent. Inflating the balloon and being able to tie it off and hand it to someone...? Awesome buddy. truly, well done. Steph |

Hi,
I don´t want to be the bad guy, but this is pretty unlogical, isn´t it?. if something is in the balloon and I destroy the balloon, than there shouldn´t be a balloon wraped around the phone. it shouldn´t - that´s logical! I think this question will rise up in the spectator, at least subconciously. rené |

Plus when you blow up a balloon with a phone inside, the balloon doesn't look like the stretched out shape in this version. I have absolutely no problems with the original clean up and quite frankly, I don't understand how anyone could, unless they were doing it at the wrong moment just because they feel that they need to convince the spectators that the phone really is inside of the balloon instead of realizing that the penetration IS the convincer.

I have to say this post is a little surrealistic in that no one is questioning the integrity of it. Christopher, I appreciate the fact that you independently developed an idea that has been released and per your post possibly prior to Pressure. IF you had shown or discussed your item with Dan White or Daniel Garcia I could understand all of this. At that point I would obviously have sided with you in that they should NOT have released it. But the fact is you knew nothing about their creation prior to them announcing it and they knew nothing of your item since it has never been released, discussed, etc. The fact is they independently developed it and put it out. I hate to say it but it's kind of the first one to the finish line wins if the ideas are very very similar. If the effect or the method is very different then it is a justifiable release. As an example, Patrick Page first created Easy Money. Fred Kaps then changed the gimmick and handling and released it as Flash Cash. Others such as Greg Wilson (Hundy 500), Karl Hein (Heiny 500), Richard Sanders (Extreme Burn) all released their versions as they were (in the opinion of most) big improvements in handling. I am not at all doubting that you had a creation but why didn't you put it out since you are OK releasing it a few days after a commercial release comes out? That would have definitely locked your place in and it would NOT have been OK ethically for Dan and Dan to come out with theirs IF you had done that. Again, I believe that you had independently developed this idea but I think it sets a slippery slope. Who's to stop an item from coming out and a few days later someone claims to have independently created it and puts it out at a fraction of the cost? Is it worth it to put out/share an item as a creator if you have this type of behavior as justifiable in the magic community. I can assure you I see independent developments happen ALL of the time but typically people play by the "rules". When I came up with Branded (which I felt was a much improved gimmick from Pyro Perception which I used for quite some time and is an excellent item) I put it out. Later I found out that several people such as Daniel Garcia and Paul Wilson amongst others had played with a very similar idea/gimmick. Certainly I knew nothing of their creation and they knew nothing of my item prior to its release. Those guys respected what had happened and shelved their ideas as I had (quite by accident) put my idea out before they ever started to go to press. That was the right thing to do. I know they were disappointed but realized that if the shoe was on the other foot they would expect the same thing. I am just shocked that no one is acknowledging that the ideas are SO similar and that Christopher is putting his idea out almost in retribution it seems a few days later. At some point between torrent sites, illegal copies, sharing, and acts like this creators will just decide it is not worth it to put out a release as they put the time, investment, and work into releasing something to only be cut off at the knees. I understand and appreciate your disappointment Christopher but hope you will rethink this and do the right thing. I have absolutely NO part of Pressure but I hope others will support Pressure. Also in all cases consider how ethics (or lack of) affects YOU... again, I see more and more where top creators are just sharing ideas with their inside friends as opposed to releasing an item and having it chopped at the knees, ripped off, illegally copied, etc. You may not have access to the wonderful items you have in the past.

Tim, take it easy, no need to write such long post even without putting in different paragraph which is so difficult to read.
We are customer willing to pay for the additional handling and I'm gald I did. And for Pressure product even I bought it I'm not angry also after 1 day you can find the handling on youtube for free. As long as magic trick selling can make money, creater will release them, do not need to worry that they will keep for themselves. And to be honest, Lyle did not put this as a product long time ago if he do independly have same idea, I thought the reason is at that time he really did not think it can be a product. And now with the big name and good marketing it become Pressure product which is just another fastfood kind of effect. The trend is more and more fastfood one trick download in market to get quick money. |

Whoa thaz a lot of text there Mr. Trono.
To be fair, the video does NOT teach pressure in anyway. He tells you to use this you HAVE to buy the T11 product as he will not expose their method. What you are getting is a handling for a different ending, not a complete re-hashing of the initial effect. Now, seeing as how this has been the huge buzz of the magic world lately, most anyone who hasn't purchased the effect can already figure it out due to boards such as these and youtube. Mind you I am referring to this one effect, not making a generalized statment about all magical effects. Pressure is more a visual than it is a magic trick. (That sentence makes sense to me. It may not to you) So you can breathe a sigh of relief and not worry so much. You have enuff stress working for Murphy's.

Tim...
While I appreciate your concern, I feel it's a non issue. Stucky is correct! I DO NOT teach Pressure. That would be un-ethical in my opinion. I give full credit to T11 and DG and DW for what is now their product. My explanation demo begins on Phase II of the routine (once the phone is inside the balloon). If you think you can purchase 2.0 and save money then you're wrong. You MUST PURCHASE Pressure at http://www.theory11.com to learn the basic routine. I do not expose how to perform the basic handeling.
