I'll wait to see what the new generation of Adams products looks like before commenting

Well, as a dealer we don't sell Magic Makers - the rip offs are many....and now what to do about SS Adams?

If this is true is very disappointing. I know Dave Haverstat was trying very hard to keep this thing going. Recent changes to testing products and other things may have played into this.

Again, I hope this is not true.

I called the S.S. Adams number to talk with David. It rang through to Magic Makers. I was told that they acquired the company as of midnight last night.

It and isn't surprising. With the current economic conditions, new goverment regulations and restrictions, it was a very tough business at best.

I think Magic Makers will do good with it.

Despite their knock-offs, they do have some pretty good quality props and DVDs.

Gov Regs? You mean lead testing and all that?

Yes, lead testing among other things. It is ridiculous.

David told me he had to test two headed nickels. Basically, you machine two nickels and glue them together with Elmer's Glue. For that he has to spend $1500 to have it tested.

No wonder no ones to try to run a business in the current environment.

My wind up teeth are chattering now! I don't know quite what to think.

Were contracts signed in disappearing ink?

Will there be a name change or will SS Adams still be known as Adams?
