Was watching History Channel the other day and there is a program on there called "Wild West Tech" with David Carradine. They had an episode on Sideshows in that time period. It was really interesting. Did anybody else see it?
Well, besides Todd Robbins who was a guest expert on the program.
I really enjoy weird history, and the 'Wild West' was one of my favorite periods.

Yes, I wanted to wait until April Fools Day to make this announcement.

There were two freakshow tech episodes done. I think they were in seasons two and three of the series. The producers were kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel because they didn't think the series would have a season two and three. There was a bit of stretching there to make the material fit the 'Wild West' criteria. The first episode had interviews done at Johnny Fox's Freakatorium. By the next year, Johnny had shuttered the place so they needed another location for the shoot. I lined them up with the Barnum Museum in Bridgeport, CT. That got me in good with both the producers of the show AND the Barnum Museum.

Yes, it was a good episode... any show that features midget porn stars HAS to be good.

As this did - of course - not yet air in Germany, is there any other way I can see this, like parts of it on youtube, or a DVD, or...?

I didn't catch the second episode. Was Charon Henning a part of that one, too?

Congrats on the Peabody Award!

Bridget Powers is a brilliant actress. Especially in the flick with the suitcase.
What a clever premise!
