Still fine tuning the show.
Now I need some more music. The only way I can think to describe it is something like this: A brass instrument, like trombone and/or trumpet, with a plunger, making the "Wah, wah, wah, wahhhh" sound, like on a game show when somebody guesses the wrong answer. And you might hear it on old comedy shows like I Love Lucy. Any suggestions on how I might be able to track this sound effect down? I could record it from my trombone, but I really want it in harmony with several instruments. Thanks again. |

I've seen this on various sound effect CD's which are on the market. Not exactly sure of the title of the effect, but you might have to try going into a music equipment supply store & asking...they frequently carry these compilations.

I'll drop by a music equipment store next week. It would be nice to have.
Thanks. |

I have found some sound effects on Kazaa and have recently used them in a show I did.

I have a good 'wah, wah, wahhhh' type ending sound. Send me a private message if you are interested.

Most high-end synth/digital keyboards will have many different type of brass effects.
What you are looking for is a muted trumpet. One of my keyboards offers that sound. Sometimes, finding a recording studio who has a huge sampler library will help. Of course, there's a fee.
