As a complete newby to coins ... can anyone recommend this product? It looks TOO good to be true! regards, Wulfiesmith |

I think it's a good version of the coin in bottle effect. If you don't already have a version in your repertoire, this one will serve you well.
There are MANY versions of the basic effect in existence, but they seem to fall into two general categories: Those that use an ungaffed coin Those that use a gaffed coin Depending on your goals, you may find one category more useful than the other. I own a number of versions in both categories in either book form or as single effects, and I came up with my own routine. But as I said, this one is very good, and I think you'll be happy with it. Combining Abyss with ideas from Justice's "Prohibition" makes for a deadly routine.

Hi Scott,
the Abyss description says the bottle and coin are everyday objects. So it sounds like no gaff coins. Could the coin be signed? |

In answer to that last question wulfie--no, the coin cannot be signed. But, don't let that dissuade you from the effect. It is still very good.
