If you read this entire thread, I tried it out on my 11th grade U.S. History class with great results.

What you are seeing is a Shrine to the artist Frida Kahlo. I appreciate all the great feedback, thank you boys.
I see it being referred to as "this thing" granted no one has seen a spirit cabinet that looks like this before, and I know you guys mean no dis-respect but it is a Shrine not a "thing". Now if you want to refer to it as "a thing of beauty" that's fine |

It really is a thing of beauty, Roth, (sorry, I had to say "thing" -- oh yeah, you said that's ok!); in fact, I think it is one of the most fascinating props I have ever seen! I envy those who have seen it in person (CC!).

How about the Human God who now owns it?

Anyone who can successfully teach 11th grade is kind of a Human God in my book.

Since dennfox owns the first OutLaw "Shrine" does this make him a Shriner?
He is going to need a fez and a miniature car. |

Does the "Order of the Arrow" hand shake qualify? I'm not a Shriner but a schemeil.

Just so long as you're not a Shlimazel.

No, the Hoffenfeffer Lodge hand shake was of a different order, involving bare bottoms and such. I mean, you got to learn cool Mystic Secrets and Old Powers and all--but it just wasn't worth it.
Order of the Arrow, tho, now yer talkin. |

Yes, a short-lived offshoot, the MOOSB, or "Scoys" as we liked to call ourselves, found our innovative merit badge program at odds with the more-conservative parent organization. Tho difficult to earn, the Knife Fighter badge was the coolest!
Sorry, I don't know why I am posting these old memories, it's just that--I donno--ever since Dennfox let me look at that Cabinet--I feel kinda--scrambled--? How long was I staring at it before you slammed the doors and closed it up ? |

I almost made it to the totem of the Talon of the Eagle in the Scot-Boy Tribe but it was discovered I did not support the NoViet in the Great War in the 60s-70s. I was heard calling the SoViet- puppets of the Tribe.

Just one question about the Cabinet: Is it possible to take the items, which are placed inside, out? Or are they fixed to the walls?

As an owner of the Cabinet, most of the items are glued in. It would be hell if they weren't because everytime you moved it -it would be a disaster!
