I have an old Wand thru Balloon tube that is like the nail thru trick but no gimmick.
It is a 2" dia. 6" long piece of Plexiglas tube with two 1/2" holes one on each side halfway down.
It has prism tape to dress it up and cover the "move", and a small plastic wand that fits thru the holes.
It's a simple little trick that can be done for a line as a little break.

M.J.M. a Ballooney kind of guy.
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.

I usually rip an inflated 260 in half without letting the air escape and do a short ripped and restored routine from that.

Ripped and restored with an inflated balloon typically gets a pretty good reaction.

...and how an earth one can do that with full balloon? You have to be kidding, right?

Where do you find the tricks by Ray Krosby and Jeff McBride?

There are TONS of bits you can do...

1. Balloon Swallow
2. T&R Balloon
3. Doggie Bag (ala Jeff Hobson)
4. Bubbles from Mouth (like balls to mouth)
5. Blow up a round balloon, draw a balloon dog on it, pop the round an in it's place you're now holding a balloon dog.

MANY MORE...those are just the top 5 I can think of...

I would not advise doing the balloon swallowing with any children around.

Also be careful if you decide to do it.

It is easy, but with anything in the mouth the way you do this illusion could choke you. So I am guessing that you would not like any young copy cats.

Speaking of risk, I think I finally am going to get insurance for my programs.

Any body else carry Magic Show or other Insurance?

Just my two 260's worth.

I perform DEEP all the time when kids are around. I just make it very clear not to try it at home. I believe with the correct presentation through your act kids will not be attempting this trick. Just my thoughts, but I know some are totally against this.

I eat a balloon at most of my kids shows, and all my festival and family shows. There is no problem doing the balloon swallow in front of kids.
