I am not sure if this is the correct place, but for those of you who have been asking, I will hopefully have a video of the quick change gimmick "Magna-seam" up by the beginning of next week (not tomorrow, but the beginnig of the week after!).
I would have had some genuine video taken from the lecture, but unfortunately in February when I was in the UK, I did not have any means to have the lectured filmed. I am back in London at four different venues and hopefully this time will be able to arrange something to have the lecture filmed one or another. The video I will have available is for demonstartion purposes only and not taken from performance. So many have asked about the gimmick it is easier to see it at work if you haven't seen the lecture or the book/lecture notes. Currently in the US you can have your dealer order the Magna-seams from Murphy's Magic Supplies. I have just a few myself, but it is most probably cheaper with the shipping to buy these in the States. When the video is up (I am having my site revamped) I will let you all know. Unfortunately I cannot put on You Tube as for some reason it is banned here in Turkey so I can neither view, nor upload there! Duh! Maybe I can find somewhere similar to post the video before this goes on my site (it will be quicker than waiting for the revamp!) Thanks to everyone for their interest. If you have any other questions about the Magna-seams or other contents of the book, then just fire away! P.S The book "Time for a Change?" is currently out of stock at Murphy's, but more will be delivered immediately after the holidays. |

Thank you for the offers to host the video on Youtube.
I have an account with Google and will put it up on there. |

Hi Lee Alex, I noticed on your lecture that you have a bathrobe quick change. Is this similar to the one being sold by Kevin James?
It would be very helpful to make a video of the Magna-Seam.

Hi Lou,
No the bathrobe change is not like the one that Kevin puts out - the only similarity is that they both use a bathrobe! The bathrobe is worn with pyjamas and slippers and was something that I did before the version that Kevin markets was put out. Hold on in there Lou and I will get the video up as soon as possible! |

Wow! I cannot believe how this year has flown!
There are videos of various costumes up on my new site which can be seen individually under the relevant products. The costumes make use of the Magna seam. The new season is beginning, but hopefully after a busy summer which gave me no time to have the videos made that I wanted, I will be able to squeeze in some time to get a proper demo video up on line. In the mean time for those of you interested the videos can be seen at Magic 2 Wear: http://www.magic2wear.com |

Hi Lee.
I'm thinking very strongly about ordering your quick change skirt for my assistant. With the drawing you have it looks like it's a complete dress, top section and the bottom part. Is that correct ? thanks much, Bob. |

Hi Bob,
The skirt changes, but the top remains the same. I supply the skirt only, but a top can be added if required. I have not got around to photographing this yet (this summer has been hectic!), but the costume can basically be made to your specifications as every costume is custom made. The skirt works on the same principle as the Color Change Kilt which is shown on the site. The Color Change Skirt is self contained and always ready to perform with nothing added or taken away. |

A brief video can be seen of items which use the Magna-seam. This is taken from my lecture at the Magic Circle in London this May. At the end of next month we will be back in London for the International Magic Convention ("Ron's Day") with the full range of costumes. |
