Do any of you know where I might see a video of a tambour silk production?

Blackstone did has part of his act before producing the girl to rosebush. It is on one of the specials.

Jaqck Gwynne included this in his big show, too. Maybe a You Tube search would work>

Owens makes a Merv Taylor type Tambour... This is the one used by Blackstone (Jr. & Sr.) and others.

There's one for sale on the big auction site. Look in the magic section and search for Tambour. It`s a Merv Taylor, the same one we use. I think it was up to 170.00$.

Thanks, I looked at Owens catalog and find the Tambour for $275...
I didn't find it on magic auction.

If possible, I'd suggest trying to find one of the older sets (with the Merv Taylor hallmark). I say this because a friend bought a 10 inch Tambour from Owens a year or so ago and reported it was not nearly as nice as his older Merv Taylor piece.

I know he could have returned it, but it was his choice to keep it as a back up and continue to use the original.

Julie, I can second that motion. I had to work on one for a guy that just did not work. He did not have time to send it back to Alan.

Morrissey Magic made a small tambo production. I liked it because you could hand hold the load with a span of the fingers.

I am planning to get the tambour back into production as Mr. Marshall used to make them.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. It was on eBay and sold for $172.00.
