There is, of course, the possibility that this is a different method, but that would be irrelevant, since the Owen routine looks identical. The trick is called "SOBW", and this particular presentation is ending with Sebastian Korta's "Lava Lamp", which is the Owen trick with a modified final phase. Thes original routine and Korta's ending can be found in Some Tricks, which is a small booklet written and published by Anthony Owen - probably available through his email ( anthony@tvmagic.co.uk ), or from this website. Hey Guys,
Thanks for your interest in my routine. You might be interested to know that SOBW has recently been explained on my new Ultimate Oil and Water DVD. It comes complete with the necessary cards and contains additional never explained before bonus handlings. Look out for the adverts and reviews in the magazines. I'll also be sharing it during my upcoming Florida lecture tour. Best, Anthony Owen

You probably should get Mr. Owen's version, if you're a oily, watery kinda-guy.
You can do a not so clean looking, yet VERY similar routine from the big Dingle book. You don't need magic cards for it either. It looks a lot like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-EiHtd8UxY It's nice to be able to have the cards examinable at the end. You certainly can in the above version. Mr. Owen's version looks far, far more impressive. KG |

Thanks Kent. I have some examinable handlings which I'll be releasing as bonuses in the near future.
Best, Anthony

Thanks!, Mr. Wayne.
I'm glad Mr. Owen threaded in. I'll wait for his examinable handling. I'm using Mr. Jennings' version. (IMHO) It's a 'BEAUTY!. (I love hearing the following two words: (from the spec.) "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE") Warmest regards:) Sixten |

I am looking forward to this.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

IMO, the first phase of that version fries them so completely that you can really "get away with murder" after that, so I've substitued a really nice David Solomon idea for phase 2, and finish with the original Jennings ending. The beauty of this routine is that it builds to an impossible climax, with each phase being [seemingly] more fair and openly impossible than the previous one. The last phase, with the opposite colors being not only alternating but also face up and face down, really brings the routine to a fine climax. TW

Very to the point. I like that there isn't a lot of card play as with other oil and water routines. I especially liked the last phase. nicely done.
