This is probably a question for Doug Higley... Smile

A number of years ago I was on an architectural project at a huge mental hospital, and a couple of the meetings were held in an old conference room. Just like you would expect from the movies, the room had a large bookcase filled with jars of preserved specimens -- body parts and so forth. I didn't think anything of it at the time (you get to see some weird things in the architecture field), but now I'm wondering if anyone has ever done any magic with this stuff.

I saw a room like that at Belvue in NY in the 60's. Freaky stuff.

Of course they have been used in sideshow...I don't know about 'magic'. Folks are made uncomfoprtable by them for the most part.

My dark Museum uses some fake body parks but nothing really too disturbing.

Careful, Roth, we may see you in Doug's Museum one of these days. Smile

But going back to the OTHER specimen, what I was thinking of was maybe like a preserved hand that belonged to an old magician or something. Then you borrow an object, or fall back on just having a card selected, and it ends up in the hand inside the jar.

Maybe a ring on the finger that has the card engraved on it.
