Hey all. So I found this weird looking penny that seems to have run into a problem while being manufactured. Anybody know anything about coins like this? Seems like if nothing else you can appear to pull the penny part off the copper.

That coin's probably worth 5-10$ or so to coin collectors.
You could probably come up with a good effect built around this misprint.

Luckyyy lol. I always go through my change in search for these lol. You could do like a spellbound and pull the design out of place in the copper. Maybe use the line about counterfiting and how to protect your money or w/e. Good luck!

That is a very nice find, I would consult a coin collector before you do anything with it. Sometimes mis-struck coins can be very valuable, and by valuable I mean quite a lot more than $5 or $10. At worst you have a good coin for some unique magic.
But please check it out, you could be sorry if you don't. And if the first person offers you $10.00 for it don't even consider selling it to them, I don't have a clue what it's worth but if you are itching to sell it I'd give you $20.00 for it. (But first you NEED to at least contact a REPUTABLE Coin Dealer and get it appraised, I'll take it even if they say it is only worth $5.00) Gerald

My coin shop sells pennies like those for $7 each.
