Lol.. Oh, yeah... back to the topic!
These ideas are hard enough for trained stuntment to do... and magicians by and large do NOT have the same training! We would be upset if a stunt guy tried to do magic after a few lessons so why would we think we can do their job after the same training? If you look back over all of the "sensational" efects that have injured or killed magician/escape artists, the same problem is common to most of them. Trying things they weren't trained to do.

Agreed. Amazes me we don't have more dead magicians , seriously.
