Hey guys,
Well I wanted to put a post up about who do you think are the best flourish/sybil masters out there? I know De'Vo and Jerry it's Cestkowski will be most people's answer, but besides them who do you think? Off the top of my head I really think the Buck Twins and Brian Tudor are really good card flourishmen. I don't know a lot but I think these guys are talented. Who do you think is? |

LOL,
Those guys are sybilmen, not flourishmen. Check out TG Murphy (who is now answering questions on the handlordz forum), Yoseph, Marius, Ulmen4, but the obvious is Jerry and De'vo. Bucks, Cap, Tudor are all magicians, not flourish masters. I would also say that Bone, KC, Ashford Kenietle, Keone and Grim aka fuergeist are all better than the above mentioned. J |

The kids in the Asher video were actually doing TG Murphys move. The molecule production is his. Check to see what TG Murphy himself said about it on handlordz.com the forum.

Hey Jamil, umm..well, I disagree on your comment. The Bucks, Cap Casino, Brian Tudor are magicians sure, but what they do are flourishes, what would you call those fancy cuts? Sybils fit under the flourish. And I would have to say that they could be flourish masters even though they do moves that aren't their's like the Bucks. Just my opinion.

To be a flourish "master" you must win either the Metz prophecy in Austria, or the Ulmen Trials. None of the above mentioned have done that.
Flourishes are WAY more than sybils! When they can do all in the encyclopedia of playing card flourishes, they still wouldn't be considered a master. They could be a sybil master though. lol J |

I would love to see the Ulmen4 perform. I think it would be mindblowing.

Who ever said you have to win some competition to be a flourish master. Sometimes I doubt the Ulmen Trials are real and just make De'Vo a very skilled flouishmen, which he is but I sometimes the doubt the UlmenTrials. No offense guys.

You could always be like Cap Casino and the Buck Twins and self proclaim yourself a "master", or you can earn the title. The pro flourishers have defined guidlines to what is and isn't a master. You can't just call yourself something like magicians do.
No problem. The trials is open to anyone and the dates and times sent out. Many people are going and will verify. Go and find out for yourself. It's real. Go to Ulmen half way between Trier and Koblenz on Autobahn 48 on Saturday the 10th of July at 9 pm for the after party. If you want to compete, email De'vo at handlordz@msn.com and he will assign you a time to meet at the castle ruins to meet the Ulmen4. Very simple. So go and find out for yourself and have a beer with the real masters. Or sit there in your living room typing on your computer about how you doubt their existance. Phantom |

That's nonsense... that's like saying to be a excellent magician you have to have won FISM... No one is talking about an excellent magician or a good card cutter, we were talking MASTER title, and for magic, there is only 1 MASTER MAGICIAN and that I believe is Lance Burton until he hands over the title to someone else. And for Flourishes, you can only get a master title in 2 places, In Austria for the Metz Prophecy, and in Ulmen for the trials. And there is NO way anyone that only did cuts could even get close. But none of them are flourishers anyway, they are magicians. So I guess they need to wait until Lance names them the next "master magician".lol Phantom |

You can't just show up to the trials.LOL
Magicians are not allowed. You need to get a date and time from the Ulmen4. You can goto Ulmen by yourself, but competing in the trials is a whole other story. Phantom |

Lol. cool. Ok phantomace.
So what you meant is - I have to go Ulmen, prove myself as a flourisher before I can be allowed to take the trials? I read the information at HandLordz by Lars and it seems that way for 2 forum members. |

No, you have to get approval before you even go. both of the forum members got De'vo's approval before they even went.
If you are just talking about going to the burgfest you can do that, but that is many days after the trials. If you want to goto the trials, you need to schedule a date and time to face the Ulmen4. Every one goes on a different date and time. It's not done at the same time and you are alone when you take the trials. But going to the party, go for it. Most people leave before then though. I know this year there was only about 15 out of 30 people left when the after party came around. But you still need an invite. Those 2 from the forum had an invite, but also had to prove themselves just to party with them.lol They don't let just anyone in, and I don't think you are liked. You should probably stay home with your magic buddies. Phantom |

Any flourisher can compete.
All they need to do is get with the Ulmen4 to get a date. Besides, most all of the pro-flourishers already are in the loop, and on the pro forums. If it was a caveman that wanted to compete, they would just have to get with the Ulmen4 to get a time/date. What I'm saying is that the trials are assigned by individual. You just can't show up in Ulmen, and expect to take the trials. They are set up by person and date/time. Almost like appointments. If you just show up, you could goto the burgfest party. But that is just drinking and partying. Phantom |
