This is Max's fantastic take on the old 6-card repeat plot. You can find a demo at http://www.innovativedeceptions.com.

Just for the record, Max has been made aware of Richard Osterlind's version of this plot and the two have come to a healthy agreement. I think everyone should be able to voice their opinions, but let's please be respectful.

I will say that I'm a big fan of Richard's routine, and had been looking for a marketed set of the cards for quite some time (yes, I know that you can make the cards yourself, but my attempts were quite the mess).

When I saw the Max Krause release, I ordered it, as it's the closest thing to the Osterlind routine that I've seen. Still waiting for the package to arrive!

But it's still my view that Richard's ending is stronger.

I think you need at least 8 red back decks and 1 blue back deck of regular Bike cards to make Richard's effect plus the 3 odd back decks. Just in materials it's $25 or more to make a set for "Out of Hand". The novelty decks run close to $4 a deck and the Bikes in bulk (Sam's Club) will cost just over $1 a piece. Wow.

I am with you; I do not want to make my own cards for 6 card repeat as well.
I think everyone will be shocked at Max design it is NOT the same as Richards. Max design is one of a kind when you get your cards in I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
I would have to disagree about the ending, I think Max ending is just as strong and I think a bit more logical.
Seeing different style backs as in Richards make the audience say “wow how did he switch all those cards?”
Seeing just the color change says, “wow how did he change all those cards, or did I miss something and they were always different color”.
The next strong primes behind Max routine is you are always showing the backs, till you build up to the kick on the ending.
I think the full color change is much more logical for the audience.
I think Max routine is a huge step forward in 6 card repeat.
Mine is in the mail can’t wait to get them in so I can do a full review.

I'll let you know if my opinion changes (about the finale) when my set arrives, and I've had the chance to perform it.

Max was good enough to call me yesterday and let me know it was shipping. Now that's customer service!

This topic is continued at "A Poker Story" by Max Krause.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
