Are there plans?

Jay Leslie has a great set at http://www.houseofenchantment.com/pages/......ain.html . His boxes stand 6.25" high when nested and the bright yellow and red materials make the outfit highly visible under stage lighting.
You could always buy a cheap set and measure the pieces to make your own kit, but Jay's set is very well made, handles nicely, and is worth the price. Curt |

I was asking if there are plans in any of the prop-making/ illusion plan books? ( or the new dvd's?)

Easiest way is to buy a small set and point it up to the size you want. for more fun, it is possible to work out the numbers, and draw your own plans. of course, I might be the only one who thinks this kind of thing is fun. what size are you looking at building?

Bob, you're not the only one! Several years ago, I wanted a set about the size of those released by Supreme. I didn't have either that set or a smaller version to go by, but obviously knowing what it HAD to do, it was a simple matter to figure out the basic dimensions. I made my set by cutting pieces of mat board, assembling with masking tape and covering them with contact paper; one white, one black. I still have them and still use them.
The critical dimension is the thickness of the material to be used, as this alone determines the outside vs inside dimensions. ~michael

I just received my-
Stage-Size Gozinta Boxes (Inner-Outer Boxes) By Jay Leslie’s House of Enchantment, Just lovely! And they are all and more than I expected! Large size (about six-inches) sturdy and well made. Easy to handle and heavy enough to “drop” out of each other. These are not the cardboard style, but done in a type of vinyl, in a great matt-finish, the pattern is CNC cut, then hand-assembled. Thank you Jay for fantastic work, and great packing/shipping! http://houseofenchantment.com/pages/gozinta%20boxes.html Magically, Walt |

To bad that some manufacturers of the Gozinta boxes 'forget' to credit the inventor: Lubor Fiedler !
