I always carry two or three Kennedy halves and an English penny with me, and as I find a minute or ten here and there during the day I'll practice and sometimes drop and ding them.
My question is, what does anyone have to say as to the worthiness of using dinged coins to keep practicing with. Good? Bad? Have you found that dinged coins work better for any sleights? Do you retire a coin after a certain point? I'm just curious, and any input/comment is welcome. |

Dinged coins are a good thing. You don't want them dinged to the point where they are deformed, but they actually palm better I have noticed.

I'd have to agree with Andrew. Dinged coins can be a good thing for palming purposes.
