I believe that we all should begin preparation for Doug's return.
Even though we might not know the exact hour...How many of you are ready?

Doug is coming soon.

He took a holiday to work on some new projects, catch up a bit on his workload and wrote a new book. I've only had time to read the first few pages, but loved what I read so far.

Although, being a humble man, he wanted to slip back quietly, his PR people insisted otherwise and I have heard angels have been rostered to scatter rose petals before his scooter as he re-enters the realm.

The new book is available from his website, as is he via email:

The link to Doug's new book:

and the spiel:
Take a reclusive genius, add a runaway Govt. agency, some space aliens raised in California, throw in the Amazon and a deadly Ancient Flying Saucer that threatens the earth with a 500 pound Canary and you have a wild adventure you won't put down!

Thanks all. Most knew where I was and 48 joined me there. It's been FUN!

As to the book Destiny so kindly touted. I JUST finished the final proofing and have ordered some for those who have bought it.
Thanks!

Doug's new book is a true roller coaster ride of fantasy adventure and sci-fi fun. A very enjoyable and absolutely different read. Beware of the 500 pound canary.

500 pound canary? This sounds like my-kind-o read.
Beware of this and that.

Doug's new book rocks! Pulp has returned! Ancient Lost Cities! Aliens! Rouge Government Agents! Easily finished in a single sitting. I strongly recommend it.

Thanks Steven and Tony. I'm sort of waiting till a batch comes in so I can get them out and gage the overall reaction.

I have 2nd Ben & Laura Pepper book in progress which takes it from the Adventure Pulp arena into the Espionage/Murder/WhoDoneit genres. A few surprises.

'Out Of The Dust' can also be downloaded...but even though I make much less on the Soft Cover version of the book I hve to have printed I prefer that hands down to the eBook.

My 3 shrunken heads - they have character - individual character - when I look at them it's possible to still see glimmers of their personality - strange considering what a shrunken head has been through - and according to Higley these are not even real shrunken heads - but then he has to say that, doesn't he?
