Yes, I would prefer to see the Art of Magic on theory11 website instead on ellusionist. the material has to be good so its a shame that any 12 year old will have acceess to such strong material.

I will definetely order it direct from wayne houchin at: http://www.waynehouchin.com/

I agree with Rabid and some others on this. I don't think anyone misunderstood your( killermagic80) statement. I think it was very blunt and to the point. Further explanation on your part has perhaps given us a bit more insight to what you really meant. There are many that feel like you do killermagic80, but magic has always been easily accessable to anyone who wanted to learn magic, or were just curious. My first learning experience came from a public library. I even bought a set of vhs tapes advertised on t.v many years ago. I can remember other magic stuff being advertised on television as well. Now, it's advertised all over the internet for anyone to purchase. Kinda like what the library also does, or book stores. My second experience with purchasing magic was from a magic shop. No one asked me at the door if I was already a serious magician, nor did they care. When I bought my first magic item, I wasn't asked if I was just curious or serious about learning magic. Thank God, no one decided to not sell me magic just because I was only 12 and just curious at the time. Why would the creator's cut themself in the foot by excluding perhaps their largest customer base. So what if they spend all their money learning how tricks work just to satisfy their curiousity. Of course some will purposely, and accidentially expose tricks on the net, but the thing here to keep in focus is what you are doing with your magic. Be encouraged to use your own creative mind to come up with your own unique magic. Stay focused on your goals. And, most of all? Continue to enjoy what you do, no matter the world around you.

This new project seems interesting. I have never been disappointed with what Wayne offers to the magic community. Let's wait and see.
If one of the effects involves a ring like what is shown in the trailer then that would be great because I love magic that involves finger rings. Smile

We were lucky enough to have Wayne both Lecture and perform at the California Magic Dinner Theatre (www.calmagic.com) several weeks back. This is one of the effects he showed us. It is a great visual and has the component of using a borrowed finger ring from someone. Anytime you us a borrowed ring and frame the performance properly, you add a very strong emotional connection to the effect. If you check this one out I don't think you will be disappointed...

When you pick up Genii this month you'll get SIX Houchin effects -- including the one involving a ring that appears in this teaser -- plus great articles by Steinmeyer, Lamont, Stone, Kaufman, and more. All for just $6!

Definitely check out the genii issue. Wayne Houchin's Ring string magic is nice! He also has a twisting the Aces version and toothpick swallowing (think toothpicks rather than needles and a thread). Great issue!

And it also makes mention of him leaving his partnership with T11.

He included a couple nice routines, but as Brad lamented....I had to read the *** things.........

Ahhhh....the good old days of books.

Wayne shot over an excerpt from the AoM DVD with clips of the interviews from Aaron Fisher, Dave Regal, and the Buck brothers if anyone needs a peek into the documentary section: http://www.ellusionist.com/wayne-houchin-art-of-magic.html
