Hey Café,
So I am quite an avid Michael Jackson fan, and I was just surfing the net when I found an interesting article about his recent connection with illusionist Criss Angel. Michael is planning a comeback tour in London this summer, and originally had hired magician David Copperfield to incorporate some illusions during his concert. However, DC was asking for an impressive one-million per show. Apparently Michael dropped the deal with Copperfield and has hired on Criss Angel to help him with the tour this summer...but that leaves me with one question. How can Criss do this is he has a contract with the Luxor? Anyway, feel free to read the quick article. I just thought this was interesting. http://www.bild.de/BILD/news/bild-englis......ive.html Best, Alan |

That's insane.
David Copperfield demanding 1-mill. per show! And Criss, what is he going to do? Camera tricks?

Historically, Magicians consult and design the show's Illusions for Michael, they don't actually perform with him.
So, Angel wouldn't need to leave his Show to do this. Or maybe he is?

Hey all,
Chris Kenner told iTricks the team up of Copperfield and Jackson was untrue and after this new news of Angel and Jackson Angel's PR man Steve Flynn said it wasn't true. Check out http://www.itricks.com or http://www.magicnewswire.com for the full stories. Lucas |

Good for dropping old man Copperfield. He needs something new and exciting and CA is the new big thing in magic. One million per show. What an @#$hol%!

Guys, please read the whole thread first before posting.
It's NOT true. Chris Kenner confirmed with representatives from all the parties mentioned. It's one of those stupid rumours.

I heard Jackson's announcement on this was made on April 1st. Is that a clue?

Well.. It hasn't ever been Copperfield or Criss Angel. Who is it really? We've got word directly from the real magician working with "The King of Pop" at MagicNewswire.com
