It actually sounds better and I think it looks better now that you explained what it was intended to do. I just passed it off as a 3fly because it happened off the table adn I think that is where my judgement came from. What do you mean my coin work is exceptional

If the translocation phase was done in the hands, you could literally do the routine in any setting.

Lol, it's great, but how could your grandfathers mother be a flight attendant?!
Still, nicely done! |

I think the beauty of the routine is the fact that coins don't fly across redundantly. Each time a coin fly’s across there’s some significance and yet it doesn’t feel as though you are setting up to make the next coin travel across. In regards to method, no layperson has a chance in figuring it out since it looks clean and since the coins are handled in a different way in each phase.
The story adds some interest to the trick, but yet it is visual enough to do in a loud environment to not solely need to rely on the patter which is a definite plus. Nice Job Kekoa!

Hey Kekoa, I like this alot. Your script has an emotional hook to it. You still need to work on it (the script that is), but you are on the right track. As far as the routine goes I like the sequence of the table first (since you pull the coins from the purse and then display them on the table). If you were to do the fingertip coin across first I would pull the coins out and CP the shell while they were examined...might be stronger. Glad to see you using the Stealth Dump on the last coin...great move by Charlie Justice.
As far as music vs. patter... music is easy and great for Youtube. Good patter takes work and polish but will always work in the real world (unless you carry around an mp3 player with speakers and tell everyone to shhhhh, just watch. Then hit Play Great stuff, keep it up! Griff |

I'd say this effect can be played out in a multitude of fashions -
You could go for elegance and put it to music as previously described for video purposes, however in "real life" situations where you're performing for an audience, I think the storyline may make for a nice addition. I'm glad you added the story for us to hear only because I think the more we as performers are allowed to see into each others minds, the more scenarios and thoughts may easily enter our own. As far as the tabled aspect that someone above mentioned could cause an issue in certain venues, there are many other ways that last coin could be vanished (a la sleeving, coat pocket, etc...) that would allow for more versatility. Thanks for sharing.
