To my knowledge the effects in the Vernon Chronicles are specific to these books.
For more informatiom I suggest you contact Stephen Minch at Hermetic Press as it is he who has written them. The Vernon Chronicles was published by L & L Publishing.

Peo is correct, the effects in these books are not excerpts from others. You will find some variations of effects from his other books, but largely you'll find new work both in effects and sleights.
Unless they have been reprinted, though, you may find some of the volumes difficult to find.

They're great, and should still be available from LandL, they reprinted a year or so ago I believe.

These are hand picked Vernon routines from the "Castle Notebooks", by Cervon and friends. Well partly.
http://www.geniimagazine.com/wiki/index.php/Castle_Notebooks Really the best way to look at it is the evolution of Vernon. As you'll see most the routines you know like "Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind", are included with a sleeker version. It also discusses many updates on certain sleights and things like the scallop. So yeah. Could be titled "Vernon Noodling Through The Years". I have no doubt Vernon performed many of the items in those books many times at the Castle. Vernon of course took his items from the old books, and newer things the world never saw. That's what the Chronicles are. Items like Given The Slip (packets are turned and all changed to aces) were finally revealed in text too. It's a fantastic set. I'll leave it at that. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3tm7u_......slip_fun |
