MagicJim: let us know. That might be something that would sell on Lybrary
Rioslautaro: I just happened to check this thread tonight (I wanted to put a "date" on when I started this. Unfortunately, I've not performed this, nor fully documented it. Since I wanted to start clean, and not use gimmicks to accomplish the effect.. I just restructured a basic "sucker" torn and restored to do the effect. The problem was when I got to the last phase, I wasn't one ahead, but two behind! I solved that with Tamariz's "Double Crossing The Look", or what Sankey calls Cross over Switch. By the way, I read a nice derivative of the torn & restored effect: the magi brings out 2 sheets of paper. The first he rolls into a ball and gives to the spectator, the second piece the magi tears into pieces, and rolls up the pieces, and keeps in his own hand. After saying the magic word, "magic", the magi's paper is restored. The magi says how going in reverse is harder, and he says "cigam" ("magic" backwards), and the spectator opens his hand to find his paper ball is in many torn pieces. This is simpler than what has been discussed above, but seems like a very clever twist on a T&R effect. I found it in Bill Severn's Impromptu Magic. John

I am speechless MagicJim.Thank you for sharing this awesome routine.Must have taken a lot of shows to devise it.
Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.

I’m now looking for the best comedy sucker torn and restored tissue paper. But don’t want to buy a book just for this, I always prefer DVD’s, magicwalsh@gmail.com
