I want to thank all the men and women of the United States armed forces who gave their lives so I can enjoy so many freedoms that I occasionally take for granted how many I actually do have. I believe they would approve. Thank you... just seems to fall a little short of what I feel inside. Thought Farmer.

A big thanks to the Vets ...I'll be in the parade in Queens NYC with the BSA and I will be thinking of all that has been done by the Vets of the USA.

As a vet I, as well as all vets, are happy to hear when folks appreciate the sacrifice many made be it in time, education, or with their lives. I will say the military is, for most, a possitive experience and has provided roads to success for many people who otherwise would not have made a good living or had a somewhat stable life.

I'll be at the vet cemetary tomorrow putting flags up.

If I remember correctly, Memorial Day is the day set aside to honor America's war dead. Veterans Day is largely intended to thank LIVING veterans for dedicated and loyal service to their country.
