Question 2: you mean first elected FEMALE, don't you?

I did not know one could be elected female.

Good one, Jonathan! If so, I elect Perez Hilton...
Also known, when doing rope magic, as "Cordini"

My niece elected to go male....

She had an addadikontome?

I didn't take either test and think they are both a waste of time so I guess that proves me American huh?

Although as I write this I am watching Rush. One of my favorite bands and they are from Canada, and just before them was a special on The Who, whom I really like and are from England. So maybe I am a citizen of the world after all.

You're going global Danny. Might as well take the next step and answer the questions...

I am certain of 7 can offer educated guesses on 2 and have never had any interest in the nobel prize winners for literature or have never been able to recall their names.
Much more interesting than the other quiz so Kudos Mr John.

I think I know 9 of 10, missing out the Literature Nobel.

Truth in advertising: 8. Missed the female president/prime minister and Nobel in Literature questions.

Yes, my ugly niece is now my studly nephew and he got married to a lovely lesbian. I was speaking to the wife, she is my pal and a complete doll, and asked her if she considered my 'nephew' to be a guy since it would kind of be odd since the wife is into women. The wife told me she considers him to be a reallllly butch woman. All I know is they are both really nice kids and we love 'em both (I think we like the wife more than the nephew!) but the family on the other side, nephews mothers side, completely rejected them both.

My nephew could pass the test.

Oh, speaking of women world leaders I would like to submit that the first unofficial female president was Woodrow Wilsons wife Edith (Wilson was one of our greatest presidents by the way). I say this because Wilsons health was so bad toward the end of his second term it was pretty clear Edith was making the decisions on his behalf. A salute to Edith!

China

Educated or not, my guesses were wrong.

8/10.

It would have only been 7 if I hadn't swallowed my reluctance to admit Tasmania was part of Australia.

We've been trying to make it West New Zealand for decades.

No need to take the test, I can show what sort of global smarts I have with one example from Destiny's post.

The use of the word Tasmania automatically started me wondering if those creatures actually spin about in order to get from place to place and grunt and spit like that.

How much more global can I be?

(If you do not get the reference, you probably ARE a smart global citizen!)
