Hi, I am re-building the cube in Tim Wiseman's Remote Vision . I want to give it a 1930s look. Of course the plastic color stickers had to go. I am re-painting now and need to "age" it. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Also I am wanting to "age" the pointer of Bazar De Magia's Spirit Clock Dial. I am hesitant to paint it as it contains moving parts. I had also thought of using antique looking foil but the pointer must stay balanced. Thanks again!

When I used to model railroads, there were many techniques used, known as, "weathering". These were things done to make a piece look as if it had some age to it, naturally weathered aging.
Here is one very good product that will get you started... http://www.rustall.com/

Thanks much guys! Both great ideas. I think the Rustall will be perfect to age the metal pointer! I am going to try lightly sanding the re-painted colors on the cube, then maybe use the crinkle coat to get a cracked paint effect! Thanks again
