At an Abbott's Get-Together Pat Page told me it was on the current video being published.

I first saw Fred Kap on the FISM magic special on national TV network Thanksgiving day in 1972 or 1973, this performance was slightly different then the one being marketed. He did things a little different. They ran the special, one half one year and the other the following year. I wish someone would put this version out. I burned his performance into my memory. It was awesome. I have watched the older video at least 100 times and I still cannot get his large coin handling in my mind. If he is just using 2 - 3 inch coins for the production part, it is not comprehensive to me.

He was the greatest! All natural!

Pete, I do know the real and best secret about Kaps' routine, and yes, it can be gleaned from the video.

I do suspect, however, that only someone really special can 'get away with it' the way Kaps did.

regards,

Dave

Well, is my face red, looks like I owe an apology to Marc DeSouza! I just received a pre-publication offer from L&L Publications for the 4 DVD set that Marc DeSouza mentioned earlier.

So, I am sorry for doubting you Marc!

The set will sell for $120.00 but if you are on their Email list you can get a pre-publication price of $99.00. This is an offer until Sept. 4, 2009.

Hi All,
Concerning Pete's comment about the 'coins' being coasters, he could be right, but they are definitely made of metal, not cardboard.
