I would judge, accurately I think, That his character (Cain) in Kung Fu jump started my interest in eastern thinking and the mystical realm. I was just a kid.

He was a big fan of magic, and a lovely soul I hear.

I wish I could have met him.

My condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
Beware of this and that.

Yes, I second that. He was (and is)on my list of "people I like." May he rest in peace.

This is one of those weird moments... Carradine was - as Kwai Chang Caine - one of my childhood heroes. I hadn't thought of him in a long time.
Yesterday, one of my students brought "hell ride" along, we watched and discussed it and I saw Carradine do a short appearance and get killed...
Then I open the magic Café and see that he is actually gone.

Synchronicity ?

In any case, the "grasshopper" in me will always have respect for "Caine" . Mr. Carradine remained a great actor until he snatched the final pebble.

As I said : respect.

I do not believe he hung himself.

YOur chance to see his most recent work is in the next episode of the series "Mental."

He did hang himself, only, he didn't want to end his life!
I think a party in his hotelroom went terribly w(r)ong...

Condolences to the family. I, too, was a fan of his work.

Although, I think the authorities may want to look closely at the cause of death...after Beatrix Kiddo did the 5 Finger Exploding Heart Technique on him in Kill Bill, Vol. 2....we may be looking at a delayed reaction here...

My band used to do a song I wrote called "David Carradine" when I was still singing.
I can only recall part of the chorus:
"David Carradine, shaves his head to a shiny sheen, David Carradiiiiiii-ine."
It was kind of droney. My voice is somewhere between Iggy Pop and Peter Murphy.
It was the guitarists favorite song.
I wanted to write a funny song about someone iconic, and he was the first one that came to mind.
"The fool is one who doesn't know what you have just found out."

I will not speculate on the tragic and untimely demise of David Carradine, other than to reiterate that the authorities are saying no foul play was involved, and that the cause of death was not a natural one.

I will not judge him either.

I will however state that his passing has left an ache in my soul, as I feel a part of my innocent, youthful past has been taken from me.

I am shocked and saddened by this terrible event.

A great actor, martial artist, magic fan and most importantly a good man, is gone. He will be missed.

It is really hard to believe that he is actually gone. A lot of great, Eastern memories from when I was young. He will be sorely missed.

I loved him in "Kung Fu" and perhaps even more in "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues."
"Go to Chinatown; ask for Caine."
Pehaps we will eventually meet, grasshopper!
